Frequently asked questions
Is Bronze really free?
Yes — forever, no card. Your board, the community you live in, off-market mode, and everything you need to belong costs nothing.
What do commends and vetoes do?
They are the community’s two votes. Commend the posts that uplift — commended posts rise in Discover. Veto, anonymously, a public post that falls short of Community Standards — enough vetoes move it to private. Bronze gets one of each a year; Silver and Gold get more.
What’s the difference between Silver and Gold?
Silver ($14.99/yr) unlocks unlimited posts, a bigger yearly allowance of commends and vetoes, and early access to new features. Gold ($59.99/yr) is built for community leaders — it makes you a Community Advocate the moment you upgrade, lets you start community votes and petitions, and carries the gold Verified badge and the largest allowance.
What’s a Community Advocate?
A resident who steps up for an issue. Going Gold makes you one instantly — no application. You can start community votes and petitions your neighbors weigh in on, and rally support with advocacy blasts, then carry that mandate to your HOA.
I’m an elected HOA officer — is there a plan for that?
Yes. Go Gold, then verify your office (upload your roster or meeting minutes for review, or get vouched by an existing verified officer). Verified officers get the official message blast — an authoritative notice that reaches every member — on top of everything a Community Advocate can do. The official role is tied to your office, not your account, so it passes to the next board when they’re elected. (A dedicated Association plan for whole boards is on the way.)
Why limit the votes at all?
Scarcity keeps a commend meaningful and stops anyone from mass-flagging. A veto never removes a post on its own — it counts toward a threshold that needs many independent voters, and Artitec removes serious harm regardless of tier. Membership buys more voice, not control.
What’s the 6-post limit on Bronze?
Bronze members can share 6 posts a year on the community wall. Silver and Gold post without any limit.
Can I switch or cancel?
Anytime, from Settings → Plan & Billing. Changes take effect at your next cycle, and a paid tier reverts to Bronze when it lapses — no auto-trap.
